Crafts & Cocktails: Learn to Embroider with Perennial
SOLD OUT. Join us for an evening of embroidery with Perennial’s Program Manager Tara Morton. Use an up-cycled frame and fabrics to create embroidered designs. Learn some basic stitches as you sip a signature cocktail, and visit the exhibition PINNED! A Designer Chess Challenge—a collaboration between the World Chess Hall of Fame and the St. Louis Fashion Fund—and get inspired! Perennial is a community workshop dedicated to creative reuse— the process of transforming discarded goods into objects of worth. Through public programs and collaborations with non-profit organizations and social service agencies, participants discover how to reuse objects, reduce waste, and live a sustainable and self-sufficient lifestyle through the power of their personal creativity.
*Free for World Chess Hall of Fame members.
Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments are provided.
