Crafts & Cocktails: Paper and Patterns: a Cardmaking Workshop

Space in this class has reached capacity. You may still add your name to the wait list should a spot become available.

Explore the exhibition Victor Vasarely: Calculated Compositions and get inspired by colors, patterns, and optical illusions. Enjoy a signature cocktail as you craft a paper weaving from a variety of colored and textured papers. Transform your weavings into a series of notecards, or create a work of art suitable for framing! Victor Vasarely is widely regarded as the “Father of the Op Art movement.” The French-Hungarian artist became entranced by patterns, including that of a chessboard in the late 1930s, which became the quintessential framework for his art.
