Artistic Brilliance in an Intimate Museum Setting

Sinta Quartet and a pianist performing for a seated audience at the World Chess Hall of Fame & Galleries.

Experience the vivid colors of a Parisian salon within the World Chess Hall of Fame & Galleries for a journey to the artistic heart of France at the dawn of the twentieth century. This WCHOF Music Series concert invites you to encounter a remarkable creative language where elegance and imagination shaped the chamber music landscape. Framed by Gabriel Fauré's radiant Second Piano Quartet and Claude Debussy's intimate Violin Sonata, the program traces how visionaries transformed every expressive possibility of the genre. Featuring virtuosic depth from St. Louis Symphony Orchestra members Andrea Jarrett (violin), Beth Guterman Chu (viola), and Jennifer Humphreys (cello) with Music Director Brian Woods (piano), this performance illuminates music that remains deeply personal. Located in the heart of our unique Saint Louis museum, the recital ensures an unforgettable destination for cultural discovery.
