Welcome spring with an evening of beautiful French chamber music presented by St. Louis Symphony Orchestra violinist Andrea Jarrett, WCHOF Music Director Brian Woods, violist Andrew Francois, and cellist Davin Rubicz. Featuring Maurice Ravel’s Saint Louis jazz-inspired Violin Sonata, an exciting springtime work from Lili Boulanger, and Gabriel Fauré’s compelling Piano Quartet No. 1, Op. 15, the performers will enchant and delight with music full of color, poetry, and charm.
Violinist Andrea Jarrett has played second violin with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra since 2015, and made her solo debut in 2019 with SLSO Music Director Stéphana Denève. She has performed worldwide with the SLSO and is a regular performer with the Chamber Music Society of St. Louis, Ariel Concert Series, and the St. Louis Symphony community partnership program. She is joined by World Chess Hall of Fame Music Director Brian Woods, violist Andrew Francois, and cellist Davin Rubicz for this special performance.
