Enjoy a free, in-person tour of our newest exhibition, Keith Haring: Radiant Gambit, led by a member of our curatorial team. Joining the tour will be contributing Saint Louis artist Dail Chambers, speaking about her artwork influenced by Haring and chess, “In the Shadows of the Queen’s Throne.” Each tour lasts approximately 30 minutes and tickets are extremely limited. Masks and social distancing will be required.
Keith Haring: Radiant Gambit features artwork by Haring, a world-renowned artist known for his art that proliferated in the New York subway system during the early 1980s. The exhibition includes a never-before-seen private collection of Haring’s works and photographs of the artist, bespoke street art chess sets from Purling London and newly-commissioned pieces by Saint Louis artists, all paying homage to the late art icon.
Dail Chambers is a visual artist and creative consultant. Her visual art practice is a multimedia exploration in genealogy, women’s narratives, and social art. Chambers received her BFA with a concentration in ceramics from the Memphis College of Art in 2007 and completed Postgraduate Studies in Women’s Studies at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
