Explore a sense of place, space, and time with music for clarinet, strings, and piano, by Chamber Project St. Louis. Enjoy how Schoenfeld fuses traditional Klezmer folk and classical forms into a spirited work for trio, how Sibelius connects to a beloved place, how Montgomery reflects on solitude, and how Wiancko creates poetry for two
Chamber Project St. Louis is a collaborative chamber music ensemble that celebrates the dynamic interactions between all members of the music-making process, from composers to performers to audience members. Weaving together music by living composers and identities historically excluded from the stage alongside historically celebrated works through narrated, themed concerts, Chamber Project disrupts the gatekeeping practices that have limited access and representation to generations of classical artists as well as creating a welcoming and warm concert experience for all types of listeners.
