Pianist Polina Osetinskaya in Recital at Wash U

The World Chess Hall of Fame, in partnership with WashU Music, presents internationally acclaimed pianist Polina Osetinskaya. Trained at the Moscow Conservatory under the legendary Vera Gornostaeva, Osetinskaya has performed on the world’s major stages, including Vienna’s Musikverein, London’s Barbican Center, and Rome’s Teatro Argentina. As a bestselling author and voice for peace following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, her performances were famously canceled by the Russian government.
Join Osetinskaya at Washington University’s E. Desmond Lee Concert Hall for “The Art of Transcription,” featuring new imaginings of masterpieces by Bach and Tchaikovsky. This will be an unforgettable evening of music from one of the world’s finest living musicians!
The performance will take place on October 28, 2024 at Washington University’s E. Desmond Lee Concert Hall. Tickets are on sale now at $25 for adults. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit music.wustl.edu or call 314-935-6543.
