Join us for an evening of cocktails and surface design inspired by the exhibition Painted Pieces: Art Chess from Purling London. Learn the basics of marbling and the Japanese technique suminagashi, and create unique designs on both paper and fabric. You will be amazed at this process and will leave with a handful of beautiful pieces to create wrapping paper, cards, fabric, and other utilitarian goods. No experience? No problem! This program is designed for novices as well as those with previous experience.
