Composer Series: Winter Opera: Performances that Warm the Soul

Join us for a special performance by Winter Opera St. Louis’ Gina Galati and Keith Boyer. Full of dramatic flare, impressive range, and beautiful warmth, the duo will be accompanied by Gail Hintz on piano, performing selections from Il barbiere di Siviglia, Puccini’s La boheme and Madame Butterfly, musical favorites from The Merry Widow, West Side Story, Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera, and more.

Italian-American soprano Gina Galati’s flexible yet powerful voice and dramatic range have won her critical acclaim and a growing repertoire of leading roles. Galati also serves as general director and founder of Winter Opera St. Louis.

Tenor Keith Boyer has been named the “best male opera singer in Saint Louis” by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. A successful Carnegie Hall debut with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra created numerous guest artist opportunities for Boyer in classical concert, pops concert, and musical theater across the region.

Pianist Gail Hintz has over 30 years of experience playing for the St. Louis Symphony, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, The Muny, and many other professional theater companies in Saint Louis.
