WCHOF Composer Series: Opera and Broadway Hits by Winter Opera St. Louis

Join us for a special performance by the amazing voices of Winter Opera St. Louis. Soprano Gina Galati, Tenor Mauricio Villanueva, and Baritone Jon Truitt will sing a variety of opera's greatest hits by Puccini, Verdi, and Bizet coupled with broadway favorites from Rodgers and Hammerstein, Bernstein, and other memorable musicals.  All accompanied by the impressive talents of Sandra Geary on the piano.   

Born in León but raised in San Luis Potosí, México, Italianate-sounding Tenor Mauricio Villanueva has performed on stages all across Norway and Western Europe. The powerful operatic Baritone Jon Truitt appears regularly with opera companies across the United States, such as New Orleans Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, and Pensacola Opera. Known as passionately and vocally impressive, Saint Louis-born Gina Galati, general director and founder of Winter Opera St. Louis has performed in Italy, South America, and many regional companies.  Sandra Geary, known for her impeccable musicianship and artistry on the piano, is a native of County Cork, Ireland.
