Pawns & Passports: Make a Travel Chess Set with Brittany Jasin

Watch artist and World Chess Hall of Fame staff member Brittany Jasin how to make simple travel chess set for all of your journeys, whether it be the backyard, a local park, or a faraway land! Taking inspiration from our latest exhibition, Pawns & Passports: Chess Sets from Around the Globe, Brittany will walk viewers through the process of cutting and attaching pieces of felt to make their own set. Adult supervision recommended.

Brittany Jasin is an artist based in Saint Louis, where she graduated with her Master’s in Fine Art from Washington University's Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts in 2017. She currently works as a gallery attendant at the World Chess Hall of Fame, assisting with daily operations as well as installation and research projects with the museum staff.
