Masterminds: You Deserve a Trophy!

Enjoy a lighthearted tour of some of the trophies featured in Masterminds: Chess Prodigies by a young artist and friend of the World Chess Hall of Fame, Mina Bailey. Mina will talk about playing some of her favorite games, including chess, and World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen's trophies, along with her whimsical, hand-drawn trophy artwork, inspired by the exhibition.

Mina Bailey is a 9-year-old who loves to learn about Greek Mythology, coding, and enjoys playing games and sewing. She is currently a 3rd grader at Mallinckrodt Academy of Gifted Instruction in Saint Louis, MO, where her favorite subject is math. Mina is also a Brownie in Girl Scout Troop 774 and takes chess and piano lessons. She adores her new kittens Cleo and Titi. Her dream is to be a film director someday.
