Learn more about textile arts and how to stitch in an evening workshop with embroidery maven Tara Meyer. Using inspiration from the garments showcased in Michael Drummond: Being Played, guests will practice basic embroidery and beading techniques to create wearable floral designs. Feel free to bring your own clothing or accessories to spruce-up or use the materials provided.

Availability is limited to 15 guests.

Tara Meyer is an experienced crafter and embroidery maven, as well as the Administrative & Events Coordinator for the World Chess Hall of Fame. She holds a Masters of Arts in the History of Art with a concentration in Medieval Art and Medievalisms, which she earned from the University of York, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Missouri.

Reservations recommended. $5 admission for WCHOF members.
