Home of the STL Chess Campus
At the heart of the city’s chess scene is the St Louis Chess Campus, which includes the Saint Louis Chess Club (STLCC), World Chess Hall of Fame (WCHOF), Q-Boutique, and Kingside Diner. The Saint Louis Chess Club hosts elite national and international competitions, fosters youth programs, and provides a welcoming space for players of all levels. Across the street, the World Chess Hall of Fame showcases the game’s rich history through engaging exhibitions, iconic artifacts, and educational programming. Together, these institutions have made St Louis a global chess hub.

To celebrate Missouri’s 200th anniversary, the World Chess Hall of Fame and Saint Louis Chess Club created the Missouri Bicentennial Chessboard, honoring the state’s history and its role as The Chess Capital of America.
