Vintage Folding Camera Portraits with Geoff Cardin

Get your portrait taken with a vintage folding view camera and learn about photography from Geoff Cardin! Inspired by the photographs from our current exhibition, T.S. Eliot: A Game of Chess, Geoff will briefly overview his Burke & James field view camera, along with images from his Ground Glass Project. Participants will enjoy cocktails and appetizers while perusing the exhibition and getting their portraits taken on the spot and will receive a complimentary digital copy following the event.

Geoff Cardin creates videos and images that inspire excitement and connect his subject with its audience. He has two decades of experience in commercial image creation and production working with clients of all sizes worldwide for commercials, advertisements, trade publications, culinary magazines, and more. Born in Okinawa, Japan, and raised in a family bakery in Southern Illinois, Geoff has developed a worldly, curious, and wise approach.
