Join us for a special one-night event, the Screwed Moves Farewell Party! at the renowned World Chess Hall of Fame (WCHOF) on Friday, February 1st! Set in the WCHOF’s stunning, 16,000 sq. ft. facility, this free show will honor the Screwed Arts Collective, a group of local urban artisans, and their thought-provoking exhibition Screwed Moves, on view at the WCHOF through February 10th, 2013.

Experience a live painting demo by members of the Collective, and red-hot spoken word and musical performances by some of the region’s best talent, including Corey Black, Ree Cee, Ackurate, and Aja La’ Starr! Panels from the exhibition will also be available for purchase. I’ll be your host and will share some of my poetry, and if you’re feeling inspired, share your own thoughts at an Open Mic session. Come out and celebrate community arts with us and enjoy a complimentary cocktail!
