Known for his ability to move crowds, dig deep in the crates, and always keep it funky; DJ Mahf walks a fine line between artistic turntablist and party rocker. Born and raised in Saint Louis, he began experimenting with music when he was in high school. Since, he has played just about every major venue in the region and has been all over the world spreading his signature sound.

Crowned “Best Hip Hop DJ” in ‘06 & ‘09 by the Riverfront Times, and recently named Saint Louis’ 2010 Red Bull Thre3style Champion and went on to place 4th in the U.S. Finals.

The Screwed Arts Collective artists often reference jazz music, improvisation, and spontaneity when discussing their work, which is currently on display at the World Chess Hall of Fame. Please join us to experience the music that has inspired the Screwed Arts Collective artists and watch them construct a piece of work inspired by the music of the evening.

The music series has been generously underwritten by members of the Queen’s Council: Susan Barrett, Marti Cortez, Katherine Lazar, Laura Lueken, Margaret McDonald, Dorte Probstein, and Mary Ann Srenco.
